THE CITY OF ŽILINA ANNOUNCES A SELECTION PROCEDURE TO FILL THE POSITION OF FIELD WORKER FOR THE PROJECT "ALL DIFFERENT, EVERYONE EQUAL - SOCIAL INCLUSION OF THE ROMA COMMUNITY IN THE CITY OF ŽILINA"

The city of Žilina, Námestie obetí komunizmu 1, 011 31 Žilina announces a job vacancy that will be filled by a selection interview for the position:
Department of social and housing – Field worker for the project “Everyone different, everyone equal”.

Estimated start date: By agreement

Basic requirements:
higher education I. or II. degree in the field of social work, psychology and other humanities and social sciences, complete secondary education or higher professional education and at least 2 years of work experience in the field, knowledge of working with a PC (internet, MS Office, MS Outlook), the ability to work in a team, organizational and communication skills, professional competence, integrity, competence for legal acts, endurance, flexibility, ability to resolve conflicts, empathy integrity.

Brief description of work activity:
active search and contacting of persons and families with social problems within the locality of operation, assessment of the person’s life situation, providing basic information and support in crisis situations, providing basic advice, help in building financial stability and positive personal credit, analysis of a person’s social, financial situation and problem, individual planning of a solution to an identified financial problem of a person, help in finding a job, communication with potential employers, help in communication of marginalized Roma communities with various organizations, administration of housing-related documentation and follow-up of housing-related obligations cooperation with field social workers, cooperation and cooperation with institutions and organizations,

What we offer:

  • 1,060 EUR/month gross with the possibility of personal evaluation (after the end of the trial period) up to 15% depending on the fulfillment of the required measurable indicators. (Total monthly salary up to EUR 1,219/month gross.),
  • the possibility of granting a 13th salary depending on the fulfillment of the city’s strategic goals and the possibility of paying extraordinary bonuses, flexible working hours,
  • electronic meal tickets/financial allowance for meals beyond the scope of the Labor Code,
  • the right to leave for 5 days beyond the scope of the Labor Code,
  • employee benefits (contribution for labor force regeneration, free entry to the municipal swimming pool, discounted admission to the municipal theatre).

The place of work is the territory of the city of Žilina – primarily the location of Bratislavská Street, where they live or marginalized groups, individuals and families at risk of poverty and social exclusion stay – Community center “Na Predmestí”, ul. Bratislavská 8612, Žilina
