The main goal of the project is to improve the existing living conditions, social environment and quality of life of the marginalized Roma community in Žilina. The project builds on previous activities and experiences in this area and on already established partnerships. Within the themes, the project focuses on supporting the education of children and young people from pre-school age onwards. The project also aims on creating cooperation between the Roma community and the majority society, to support the stability and quality of their housing. 

Project further focuses on the current community issues in areas such as helping children to cope with the difficulty of the curriculum during primary school classes and improving their home preparation; increasing the interest of children’s parent in pre-school education in kindergartens; creating a stimulating environment with enough of leisure activities for children and young people in the location of Bratislavská street; supporting and monitoring the situation in the area of housing stability and prevention of housing loss; expanding the activities of the community center through an extension and creating an updated concept of development.
